Enemies are first divided by rank. Rank is derived from the average of the enemies four stats. If the average falls between 1 and 5, the enemy is rank 0. Averages of 6-10 are rank 1 and so on.
Enemies are given additional points based on rank (10 points for rank 1, 20 for rank 2 and so on) to spend on skills and resistances. Shadows may choose from the same skill list as players, but demons may also choose from the demon skills list.
